2023 International Forum on the Intersection of Psychology and Neuromedical Engineering -17th International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering (CME2023) was successfully held!
On November 3-5, 2023 International Forum on the Intersection of Psychology and Neuromedical Engineering -17th International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering (CME2023) was successfully held in Suzhou, China! The conference was hosted by Suzhou University of Science and Technology and Environmental Psychology Committee of Chinese Psychological Society (in progress), organized by School of Education, Suzhou University of Science and Technology、USTS Think Tank for Urban Development、Psychological and Behavioral Experimental Center, Suzhou University of Science and Technology, and co-organized by University of Bologna and AEIC Academic Exchange Center. More than 150 experts, scholars and students from Arizona State University, Kyoto University, Bologna University, East China Normal University and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Xiaoming Tian, deputy secretary and vice president of Suzhou University of Science and Technology. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Prof. Hongtao Wei from the School of Education. Prof. Pengming Jiang, secretary of our school's party committee, gave a welcome speech, and Prof. Jinglong Wu, secretary general of ICME, gave an opening speech.
The conference invited famous scholars such as Prof. Xiaolin Zhou from East China Normal University, Prof. Kewei Chen from Banner Alzheimer' s Institute, USA, Prof. Toshiya Murai from Kyoto University, Prof. Dezhong Yao from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Prof. Mechael A. Nitsche from Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors,Germany, to give wonderful keynote speeches, share the latest academic research results, and arouse the discussion and thinking of the participants.
A sub-venue was set up in the University of Bologna, Italy. Pier Paolo Piccaluga, a top Italian scientist and internationally renowned medical professor, was the guest speaker, bringing the participants the most cutting-edge research results in the field of modern medicine and bioinformatics, and broadcasting them online simultaneously.
According to different topics such as cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, mental health and biomedical research, the forum has set up sub-forums for oral reports and poster reports. In each branch, many outstanding scholars actively participated, shared the problems and solutions encountered in practice, and jointly discussed the latest research results in this field.
This forum combines psychology and neurobioengineering for the first time in the world, and takes the lead in putting forward the concept of interdisciplinary between psychology and neurobioengineering. Experts and scholars have deepened their understanding of the industry through sufficient information communication, inspired new ideas and innovations, and promoted the development and progress of related research.
